Today Smartboards arrived for the classrooms. Eighth grade students assisted with bringing them in. After all were brought in the 8th grade students were ready to take 3 over to the Middle School. Somehow I think they thought they would just be hung and their teachers would begin to use them immediately! It was their excitement that produced this reaction.
Smartboards are in the process of being hung by two volunteers. Teachers will receive training so that they are able to be used. Smartboards are interactive and involve a great deal of student participation. We have the projectors that are needed but now we need the laptops! Maybe our walk a thon will help to achieve part of this goal!
